MACD, or moving average convergence/divergence, measures the difference between two exponential moving averages (EMA). It is displayed as a line that oscillates above and below zero. When the line moves above zero, the stock's movement is generally bullish or positive, and when the line drops below zero, the stock's movement is generally falling.
